Our manufacturing process that utilizes facemix allows Hanson Paver Products, Inc. to create many unique finishes and colors while maintaining the structural integrity of the paver, being cost competitive, and maintaining the interlocking characteristics of the paver.
Colors
By adding high dosages of pigment to the facemix, or top 1/4" of the paver, this concentration of pigments can be used to create bright and intense colors.
Finishes and Aggregates
Shells, Black Beauty, Terrazzo Stone and Glass are just a few of the special aggregates that can be added to the facemix process and exposed through grinding to create an aggregate paver finish.
By adding the pigment or special aggregate to only the facemix the costs are reduced and the strength of the paver meets the ASTMC-936 specifications.
